Mudflaps with running boards, which ones?

I just bought a 2011 4Runner Limited, it has the factory option "R6. Running Boards 599.00"

I crawled under it today and found a sticker with "012000" on the running board. I've been looking online for OEM mudflaps as I'm a stickler for factory fit and finish. Part number PT76989110 says "Conflict with Running Boards part no. PT925-89100. Mudguard can be installed with Running Board part no. PT925-89110. Mudguard conflicts with factory Option Code KG (automatic retractable running board).

Will these work with my truck or no? I want to be positive before I spend money on them. Any other recomendations for mudflaps? I want to keep the rear tires from spraying crap at the bikes.

Congrats on the purchase, If bike spray is your only concern I think all you will need is the rear flaps which wouldn't interfere with the running boards. If you want all 4 I am afraid I don't know which ones are compatible from the factory with the style running boards you have . Would be a good test of the dealers parts departments knowledge/skills.....but don't hold your breath.

Nice wheels. I have some SRAM 60's on a Cervelo P2 on the back of mine when I'm not mountain biking.

Sorry for the delay in the PIC's. It has been crazy week. Now you could drill holes for sure if you want, I did not. They are mounted on there just fine with out having to drill holes for the bottom mounts. Now on the front flaps you certainly could drill for the top mount and the bottom one. Again, I did not since the flap was on there secure enough. As you can see there is plenty of room with running boards there.

Now I have done 2 Winters up here with these on and trust me they are fine without drilling holes. If you saw any of the news you know we got hammered last year in Upstate NY.

I have no issues at all running these. I put them on because I was tired of the salt rocks cutting up the clear coat.

Got the same setup, installed boards/flaps as soon as I brought the truck home 2 1/2 years ago...........no issues at all, no holes drilled!

OP, one tip when mounting front flaps, if flap doesn't clear board, simply loosen the six nuts that secure board to mounting brackets and slide it back as they are adjustable. Retighten nuts, you're good to go.

Thanks. Just ordered mine... First mod to my new 4Runner.

Now if I could just find hatch struts that are about 1/2 inch shorter so it doesn't hit the garage..

So question for you. Looks like the front flaps will only be secured by two screws if you don't drill out the other two holes. Did you leave it that way?

You could drill for upper screws, but because you're screwing into plastic flare, I just used a cordless screw gun to run them in.
