Muliti-instrument display backlighting issue on 2006 T4R

The backlight on my 2006 T4R Sport's "multi-instrument display" (where A/C, outside temp, etc. are displayed) just went out ... or, more specifically, the left half of the backlighting for the display went out. Does anyone have any idea what might have caused this? Any experience with this?

You probably just had one or more of the LEDs behind the console go out. This happened to me awhile ago - There are two LEDs behind the info panel, and one went out. Was kinda funny because with one out, precisely half the panel was dark, and half was lit. Thought there might be some transition from light to dark, but I guess there's some sort of separator. .

You can pick up spare bulbs at the stealership for a few bucks.

Yes, this is the same way you switch the color of the bulbs.

I was actually incorrect in my earlier post - the lights are actually little light bulbs, not LEDs.
