Is it worth it to pay $200 as opposed to $25 for MLS head gaskets? The 3.0 V6 in the 4runner uses a steel block with aluminum heads and is notorious for blowing head gaskets. Is the best way to combat the dissimilar metals with a MLS head gasket? I'm thinking of using the set made by LC Engineering.

Toyota came out with an improved HG for use during the 3.slo HG repair campaign, it is MLS IIRC.
So did one of the aftermarket gasket manufacturers (FelPro ? Mr Gasket? )
I'd check them out before giving LCE $200, especially since some of their merchandise is just repackaged stuff from other manufacturers.
