Pin 13 is a Yellow/Red going to the "A/T INDICATOR LIGHT SWITCH (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)"
On a 5-Speed this goes to the CC switch on the dash, which I guess the A/Ts don't have? Maybe THIS is your issue.
The green/orange wire leaves the Comb. SW on Pin 3 and goes to Plug 3E Pin 8. Then it splits into FIVE more green/orange wires that leave on the same Plug 3E as follows:
Pin 7: Diff Lock ECU
Pin 5: 4wd ECU
Pin 6: AC Amplifier
Pin 4 : CC ECU
Pin 10: ECM
So I don't see how the 4wd ECU disappearing would have any effect.
Thanks for some more clarification on the where the wiring goes. If the cc module is in fact getting its own speed reference, then I'm sure I didn't lose it through the 4wd computer then.
Ok, what you said about pin 13 yellow/red going to the a/t indicator light switch got me thinking. This switch on a multi mode case truck goes into the 4wd computer, not directly to the CC module as it does on a j-shift truck. I think this maybe what I'm missing.
I should be able to tie pin 17 of the 4wd computer to pin 16 of the 4wd computer and basically wire it the way a normal J shift truck is wired. See highlighted pink in pic.
