if you do a little searching through the forum for "performance options for the V8" you'll find the only way to get more power out of it would be to supercharge it.

most have found the cold air intakes are worthless, the chips do nothing, throttle body spacers are worthless as well.

this thread above has all the info you need on lifting. you cannot lift the 4th gen 4wd 4runner higher than 3" of suspension lift due to the CV axle limitations as well as the factory axle linkage interference with the gas tank at any height over 3" of suspension lift.

you could however add a 1 inch body lift to the truck after a 3inch lift kit and gain 4" total lift under your rocker panels plus the size of the tires will lift your ground clearance more as well.

Very interesting I've been looking for something like unichip. Can u do real time tuning w/ wideband or is it just maps someone made? I'd rather have my own tune, looks promising. Anyone running unichip?

http://www.autoanything.com/performance-chips/61A2776A0A0.aspxnot read the detailed info, imo, not worth the 600+ bux for little to no real gain. yes, i had one, it was pretuned for the exact mods i had already, one drawback is if you change anything, like if you get one for use with stock intake or exhaust, etc. then change to aftermarket or even brand, it doesnt want to play nice anymore, you would then need to send it back the them to be retuned.

No support for 03-04 we don't have hall sensors :( basicly I've only found custom no plug and play and I need that for inspection.
