Munkels build

Nice rig! We are twins!

I was wondering how you got your Ray10's with Spidertrax spacers on without rubbing the bolt holding on the bottom of the flare and front plastic trim of the rocker. Then I saw you're on 285s! I have trimmed (BMC too) as much as I can, but with the 305's the spacers had to come off. Luckily the stance is still pretty good with the width of the 305's...I know its just for looks, but seriously considering some Bora spacers at .75".

Yeah, I trimmed a lot just for 285's. nice rig, we'll have a lot more in common as my build progresses.

Nice TE! Do you have any side forward to back profile shots showing your wheel/tire compared to wheel well/fender line? I'm curious how far they stick out with the wheel spacers and SCS backspace/offset? Thanks!

Best I have below, they definitely stick out a bit but I kinda like it.

Hey man,
fellow Oregonian (I live in Beaverton) here and your build contents shows you have the TRED mounted on your Gobi. Do you happen to have a picture of that? I just received my TRED mounts but was wondering what the best way to mount these to the Gobi.

Thanks! Hope to see you around! If you ever need a hand or just want to grab a beer let me know.

Hey Doug, I had the old style aluminum plate mounts with stainless studs and steel knurled nuts that threaded on. I just drilled two holes in each plate and ran a big bolt through and used a big washer and nut on the bottom. Was a pain to tighten the nuts though. After a few years the mounts were pretty worn out and hard to unthread so I got a pair of Plano rifle cases and put my TRED's in them. I have the 1100's and they fit 2 per case just perfect.

Good pic from back then is here: Munkel on Instagram: “New @raingler_nets cargo net for the roof. Love this thing! Definitely going to come in handy.”

We follow each other I'm pretty sure on IG, at least I know I follow you. I'll give you a holler on IG some day, we do garage days at my place sometimes.

Thanks man! I might do something similar to that, sounds like a good plan. I'm just tired of the basic rubber bungee cord look.

I didnt put two and two together when I posted and didn't realize that was you! sorry its been a long day. I Definitely follow your page :)

I'll take a look and ya let me know anytime you do anything.

Thanks Mike
