Music when You off-road?

For Me it's metal. Like mentioned before Static-X when i blew my engine off-road but also add Zao, Pantera, System of a Down, Clutch, Deftones, and others to the mix.

How about You?

the new comeback kid cd called symptoms and cures. though I never really liked any of their past cds, just a couple songs. I've been liking the new cd alot. Also, the bled, the warriors, terror. lol sorry I'm a hardcore kid, always have been. I was listening to At The Gates when I was 11 haha.
 
i listen to some slow jams. love making music and stuff.

LOL just kidding. no music for me while i wheel.
 
I like some Alice in chains, chevelle, any rock with some steady repetitive guitar play and build up. I don't like comical rock.

I usually listen to rock on the way to wheel but usually keep it off once I'm there to listen to the vehicle as it does its duties.
 
Tool, A Perfect Circle, Mudvane, Chevelle, Static X, Korn, Linkin Park..... Medium volume on trails and off when gettin busy climbing or mudding.

Damn thats exactly the same for me plus Puddle of Mud, System of Down, and a couple others as well.
Favorite song by Perfect Circle? Mine would have to be Gravity.
 
I'm an old fart, so I have never even heard of most of those bands, let alone listened to them.
I prefer older rock... :guitar3: Ozzy, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, etc....and classic rock, soft rock, etc...

Usually just what I find on the radio works for me :frog:

When in seriously technical stuff, the radio is off so I can hear my spotter. :lookout: :roadkill:

Wow you must be OLD.... oh wait I listen to the same stuff, dang I am getting old then too.

I don't listen to music much on the trail so I can hear the sounds of my truck, spotter and the sounds of the Forrest. When I do it is different each time.

lol, a buddy once told me that you know when your old when your favorite radio station no longer plays your music and you start hearing your songs on the classics radio station, i don't think i'm old but i'm hearing STP, alice in chains and all of that stuff on the classic rock station now, lol

as for having no music i only do that when i'm poo-ing my pants....lol

Lately I'm listening a lot to Kings of Leon, Black Keys, and Chevelle (at least that's what I've downloaded lately). I love the classic rock too but since I've been playing in bands for the last 15 years I'm kinda burnt on the Zep and Floyd, but I can't deny it's some of the best music ever!!. I'm in a big Motown phase too right now.

Edit: Why the hell would they sensor B r i t n e y? That was one of the names in my joke. huh???

The word filter on this site is pretty weird. As in, it's not very smart. It's not an intelligent creation....rather more of a re****ed one. For example: I cannot type r e t a r d e d. And why the hell would you not censor hell....if you censor t a r d. LOL



On topic: I listen to all kind of stuff. When I'm offroad (or on gravel/dirt) I almost always listen to country, Zac Brown Band, Josh Thompson, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, etc

For the rest of my driving I listen to everything. Recently: Band of Horses, The National, Frightened Rabbit,The Police, FloBots, Jon Foreman, Kings of Leon, Muse, Pomeroy.

Just a few:

Mainly Alice in Chains and Ozzy Osbourne, but Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom (duh), Judas Priest, Metallica, Korn, Alice Cooper, Buckethead, Guns N Roses, Black Sabbath... etc... the list goes on...

Now that's a hard question to answer. I guess "Outsider" for now but still love the older ones, Judith, 3 Libras, Pet......

I really need to put my new Ipod receiver deck in the 4Runner, also supports the almighty Pandora radio, love it!
