Every week and a half or so (whenever there is a change) the dealer sends me a screen shot of the dealer daily update. This shows the following information:

- Production Date
- Vessel Departure
- Vessel Arrival
- Plant/Port Process
- Rail Departure
- Rail Arrival
- Shipment to Dealer
- Dealer Arrival

Unbelievable...my dealer has told me they're totally in the dark w.r.t any of these dates. Such BS!! What I wouldn't have given to have this kind of service when ordering my Pro!!

So this is pretty cheap, and not very good looking, but very functional. An old Tupperware container and a bungee cord for a car trash can. I don't put food items in it, but paper and wrappers are perfect.

lol... this is the first time I ever saw someone do that to a 5th Gen.

We just got a 5th Gen too and aside from the usual previous owner complaints like the lack of overhead sunglass holder, we can now add the trash can to the mix.

What dealership? I just bought from Nalley Toyota in Roswell and they were beyond helpful. Granted, I bought an SR5 off the lot, not preorder a TRD.

The wife bought three of those plastic milk crates to keep groceries from rolling around the back. They are cheap and nest together and don't slide around. She also has some of those insulated bags that zip closed for cold and frozen items.

Good call. I was just going to post about tool box drawer liner and spray adhesive in those stupid cubbies. Your template will make that super easy. $5 for the drawer liner and $5 for a can of Super 77 spray adhesive.

And for a suggestion no one has done yet, FJ Cruiser D Rings to replace the coat hooks... or you can go to the next level and do a paracord frame using those D rings and hang a 28"x28" bungee net off it...

$10 ea for the D rings and maybe $20 in paracord, velcro wraps cut to size, and the bungee net.

Tell him to check "Dealer Daily." If he can't help you, I would assume one of 2 things:

1. He/She doesn't have access, in which case the sales manager can check.
2. The dealer doesn't have an allocation yet and/or the vehicle has not been built.

I got the harbor freight version years about and it works great for how little I use it. The only issue with these little guys is they for ever to fill tires. It is better than nothing or trying to find a gas station.

Did you use the granulate? That would seem to work best.

I used the rubberized... I didn't want that sandpaper feeling. I'm sure either will work though. The rubber is plenty 'sticky' and stuff doesn't slide around.

I really need these for our next camping trip to hold my Foxwing awning. Does it have channels on top to put bolts like the Rhino Rack bars have?

Would you kindly share a link for the d-rings? I just googled and didn't see the ones you shared a photo of. Different designs out there but couldn't find yours.
