I've had most brand of floor mats in a variety of vehicles and I have to say that WeatherTec,h while nice aren't worth the money relative to the other aftermarket mats these days (especially since you cant use coupons on WeatherTech). I've worn through WeatherTech and in straight up comparisons they are thin vs the competition. I have a set of Max Liner fronts and I really like them - fit, durability and price.

Oddly enough I have 4 sets of mats for the 4runner. The factory rubbers are nice but they are a soft rubber. Carpeted ones decent as well. But none are very good for heavy duty dirt.

Stock suspension. The tires are BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T K02, same size as original - 265/70R17. Load range C. While the specified size is the same, the section width is slightly more than the original Bridgestone's (maybe 1/4") and the tread is about 3/4" wider. Haven't noticed any rubbing, although I haven't had it off-road yet. From reading through various tire threads on this site, I'm not expecting to have any rubbing problems.
 
So what's up with the "rear bumper cup holders" people keep mentioning? Is that a joke? I don't see anything on google for these...

Also, I am interested in Backup rear LED upgrade and LED interior light swap, but it looks like certain interior sockets are actually not any brighter no matter what kind of bulb you put in them and also there seem to be some reliability issues and early failures... I am really not interested in experimenting with this shit, so if anyone can confirm which bulbs are proven brighter and which companies are proven reliable I would definitely purchase the upgrades Links are king!
 
I also looked through this thread 3x over because I thought someone mentioned a specific type of clear front windshield UV protectant but I couldn't find the post. Does anyone have any more information on this or what you should be paying for it?

Yeah, it's tint for the front windshield. Llumar Air Blue 80. My quote was 135; front windshields, and this tint, are fairly expensive.

If you want to light up the dark side of the moon, also add the DD Tail and Turn module. Then swap your turn signal bulbs for JDMAstar 7440 white LEDs. At that point your total lumen output would be around 5000 lumens. Personally I think its overkill and could be dangerous to whose behind you while parking.

This light combo is bright AF, but I like it a lot. Not painful to passers by, but really, really bright. Like daylight to the backup camera.

[MENTION=152304]gundrted+t4r[/MENTION] Thanks for the informative post. Looks like the backup lights are proven to be brighter and not too many issues reported so I'm going to pick up a pair of those GX-3020s.

What about the inside map/dome lights? Anything proven brighter? Again, I don't want to mess with anything that's going to flicker or that's not going to last for years and years...

You get what you pay for. I bought LEDs from Amazon for $10 and they flickered within two years on my Infiniti. I replaced those with the LEDs from PrecisionLED and I cannot understate the difference.

You'll be happy with those bulbs there.

Look at antman's build page, basically he cut two holes in his rear bumper and placed cup holders there. I did the same with my rig and it's great for tailgating, plus it's wicked cheap and takes about 5 minutes to do.

Weather Tech Bump step is also a nice seat when your at a trail head.
