Must Have Mods & Accessories??

Hi Guys, I just bought a brand new 2005 4Runner limited lastnight and wanted to hear some suggestions of must haves for this truck. FYI: It came with the Borla dual exhaust system and spoiler.

Mostly look. I live in the city so I won't be doing much off road stuff or anything.

Get a spacer lift kit and bigger tires. Not to expensive and will get you a bit taller for city traffic. Lifts are not just for wheeling. It should have come from the factory a bit taller anyway.

How about some window tint?

Mostly look. I live in the city so I won't be doing much off road stuff or anything.

In this case I can suggest some cool accessories like:
- Window Visors
- Hood Deflector
- Rear Spoiler
- Silverstars
- Revos, they are very good not only off-road, but in rain and snow
- Any interior upgrades you like such as wood trims, LEDs, leather (if you don't have it right now), DVD, music components, etc.

I wouldn't get those silverstars. Waste of money. Some member have had the lights burn out in a year and no there isn't a warrnty on them that last that long.

I've been pretty happy with the Silverstars so far but I also have the XD5 (found here) bulbs and am just as happy with them. The XD5's are only $10 so they're at least worth a try.

Once your at the site click on XD5 5800K Bulbs to the left. I have the XD5's in for my fogs and they seem just as bright and white as the Silverstars.

Nah, that was taken before I replaced all the bulbs. Those are still the factory ones. Right now my pc at home is ripped apart due to remodeling. Maybe I can snap some pics tonight and upload them to my work pc tomorrow to show you.

I just has the clear bra put on my new 4Runner yesterday. Has anyone else has this done?? My cousin works at a ford dealership and he puts the clear bra and other accessories on for them and all their cars--they use Lumar brand which I've heard is better then the 3m Bra but I don't really now. Right now I see a lot of ripples and the edges look like they are going to peel off. I was told the ripples will go away after it sits in the sun for awhile but for now it looks like crap and I'm a little concerned. There are also some hairs and stuff under the it that are driving me insane. I'm think about just peeling the whole thing off ---the only problem is it cost a butt load of money to get it put on...if you have had this done and it looked really good---meaning you can hardly notice it and there are ripple, bubble, or hair/dirt I would like know who applied it, what brand of bra material was used, and how much did it cost you?. Thanks

I think the clear bra is the same idea as window tint. Until the adhesive is fully dried you may have a few smaller bubbles or ripples. I'm not completely sure on this though since I've never had a clear bra.
