Muth Signal Mirror install on 2007 4R

Hey Folks,

I am requesting some help along with providing some of my own (with pics). I didn't do a full search of the forums, so I apologize now if this information is duplicated. I did read the "Added Heated Muth Signal Mirrors to my non-heated housings" thread, but didn't go into the detail that I needed.

Since I need to get an answer as soon as I can, I'm going to post my question and then edit my post later with the pics and rest of the information I can post to help future DIY'ers.

I need to ground the signal wires from the mirrors and I'm overwhelmed as to where I should ground these wires. In this haystack of wires what needle would you recommend I do this to? =) I'm assuming that the silver bolt sticking out of the lower blue connector is a ground terminal, but I'm totally guessing by a very poor picture in the install instructios from Muth.

Use the bolt attached to the metal retaining clip instead. I believe that bolt grounds to the body.

If you pull back those black harnesses to the left of that connector there are some green wires with a white tracer going to a screw right into the metal. This is where the factory install instructions suggest the compass mirror I installed gets grounded. It might be a little easier than the metal clip although that will work too. By the way that big bolt sticking out of the blue connector is threaded into plastic and is definitely not a ground point.

you can also ground them to the screw holding that silver bracket in your picture. Id I am not mistaken mine are grounded to the common ground stud behind the left kick panel, I seem to remember it being very visable. I love my mirrors.
