If had this truck for about 4-5 years now and I'm noticing some wear on the interior. Have any of you fellow 4runner owners had some of this stuff show up in your car? if so how did you get rid of it?

One last thing, I decided I wanted to purchase some black rims but I'm not sure what kind would look good. I want something black/chrome 20''...I don't take this truck off road I just want some street kind of rims. Any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning it off with anything? I was thinking about replacing the gauge lights with blue LED lights...to do that you have to take out the gauges so I was going to try and clean it but I don't know what to put on it. Any ideas?

The plastic 'lense' over the gauges is very soft and easily scratched. From what I remember reading, it is also easily replaced. I haven't had to replace mine yet, but I know others have and I'm pretty sure there is a write-up somewhere on here.

I used Meguiar's (forgot what it was called but it was in a white bottle). That crack? I guess you just have to live with it unless you got some monies to replace. OR buy a dash cover. Thank gawd i don't have a crack but i do have a dash cover on mine to kinda prevent cracks.

The lens scratch really easy, you can try some of that I think it's called plastic-x. It removes scratches from pastic.

On your lens tho, it looks like someone sprayed something on it and it may have ruined it. It's easy to replace that lens if that's the case.

I noticed a few cracks on the dash this past weekend. Sucks. There is also some deal going on with the drivers side arm rest? Other than that it's doing much better than my old ford with it was 6 years old.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on all my dash and sun exposure items, boats, planes etc, it has a UV protectant in it, works good..only drawback is that it is shines a lot..after a crack though you are pretty much out of luck, except with a dash patch kit...
