My 07' 4.7L has some knock/ping

Under heavy throttle I frequently get some knock and ping.
Especially when she shifts at around 4K and as the revs
drop she will ping as she revs up.

I burn nothing but Chevron 87. Should I get the 89 or 91?
Its designed to run on 87.
Should I have the Dealer reflash the ECU?
There was a TSB for reflash IIRC.
Anyway next free oil change I will inform them.
Runs good when I just cruise it.
Oh, just turned 4500 miles

Neither have I!

But to help you out here, I would always start with the simplest fix or diagnosis, and use a higher octane fuel. If that fixes it, then you may want to try that TSB. I've never heard of that TSB.
