My 07 is too low to the ground...

Hey, my name is Stephen and I have an 07 4Runner SR5. I am looking for some lift. I spend the winters in the mountains and the summers on the beach. I have drug the bottom through sand and snow and it is a little irritating to be high centered on some sand. I would like to run some 33" all terrains of some kind.

I have looked at the OME kits but I was just curious what the experts had to say.

I look forward to learning some new stuff about this thing so any other pointers or tricks I certainly would appreciate!

If you want some lift and want to be able to adjust the height while still having some kick ass suspension I would suggest going with Icon Vehicle Dynamics (Formely known as Donahoe Racing) Coil Over struts. Gives a nice lift adjustable from 0-3.5" runs really good at 2" on the stock A arm's I did it and I'd suggest it to anyone looking for that extra height!

I'm no expert but I love my Runner and I only put on the best of everything!

OME is the best bang for the buck. It is a simple, reliable, tested system. Choose your springs wisely, as the heavier ones are really stiff. I, like Chaos, also have ICONs and they are worth the money. There are so many options for the 4th gen, search around and you will see.

Where can I get a good deal on the Icon stuff? How difficult is the OME setup to install? I assume I would have to take the coil over apart and then install the OME spring and shocks. I also assume the Icon is a simple swap from the stock stuff.

What about adding the larger tires? Is there a tuner or programmer that will make all the electrical systems play nicely?

i just installed the new toytec adj. coilovers it gives a 1-3 & 1/2 in. lift. they have eibach springs with bilstein 5100 shock. great ride, not stiff but still firm. cost around 700 at fatbobs.

Installed OME

I installed the OME suspension kit (front and rear shocks and springs) and I'm running Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70R17's. I just ordered front and rear 1.25" hub centric wheel spacers. Does anyone know if I can add another inch with some sort of spacers? Or will i have to replace the upper control arms since I have IFS?
