My 07 Sport V8 4wd

It's a work in progress, Best truck I've ever owned

Replaced all interior bulbs with LEDs.
Replaced lic plate, rear signals and reverse lights with LEDs.
2in front spacer, soon will be 3in front and 2in rear.
Tinted to match factory privacy glass.
DRL override with switch.
Used factory tacoma aux switches for lights in dash blanks. They Light up red/orange to match.
Blk pearl emblems.
Removed step bars.
Replaced sport wheels with offroad 17in/8in wide and had them powdercoated 20% gloss with texture, took me a long time to find wheels that had a +10 offset so they would line up with fender flares.
Used Nitto terragrappler 265/70/17
Surco safari basket mounted on fact. rails so its low on roof and looks clean.
4 hella with 100w bulbs wired through fact roof rack.
Fabricated holder in basket for 4 5gallon cans.
Replaced radio with eclipse avn2210p(Crutchfield) from Urban Runner, ordered factory bezel and steering wheel button adapter along with the JBL adapter
Monster mats
Gorilla blk lug nuts
2 Level O Gauge, dash and b pilar mounted
110v convertor
Driver side grab handle

Of course thats your opinion, but seeing that your geographic location is NC leads me to believe your several years behind, and since I 'm not a prof Hip Hop recording artist I don't find Chrome or Bling appealing.

I thought it was apparent my primary use was recreational. I do want to stand corrected, because I thought "el do33" was from N Carolina. Anyway,

"rook" great stance and great list of mods, Truly well done. Cool dog!!!

"rx900" Impressive list of vehicle and I love the Strada in the PI, ya I said PI. I know about the PI!!!

"snhrph" Also a great pair of trucks. Did you read the article in 4WD mag with the GX that had minor mods? It went thru the Rubicon. Nice!!!

We use the 4runner for daily driving to the beach, it hold our toys. Also we do alots of desert trailing in Borrego desert as well as Baja. Then in the winter we head to Big Bear and Mammoth. I'm down to two vehicles which is rare, currently the second is a 2008 Lexus IS

Looks great, as for el_do33, that's a pretty whimpy mod list to be so bold when putting others down for working on their truck.

Those tires look good, and the steelies will be great for offroading. I have a few big chunks taken out of my front rims.

Good idea to up-size your lift, those tires are beefy as hell, and eat up your wheel well space. However, I don't believe Terra Grapplers come in 275/70/17.......

Mind if I ask where you got your black pearl emblems?

I believe your right, I think they are 265/70/17. Yes they do real well off roading but I will go with a more meaty tread next time, like a M/T.

How did you like the 3f/2r spacer? Did it aggravate any susp angles, I really want adjustibles like you with new a arms, but it will have to wait till I replace both bumpers (shrockworks).

I got the blk pearl emblems from a Dealer Vendor for $200 installed. I like them and they match the sport grill but now I think I want to white out the grill.(never stops)

Your truck look great, question for you. How do you like your 4300 HID kit? Do you ever get flashed or are they set low enough. Ive pondered it, but with HID you get a brighter pattern, but less distance viewing.

I hated the 3/2 off road, but it was fine for city driving. As for the HID, no one has flashed me, but I lowered the beam after I installed them, because I installed them around the same time I first lifted my truck.

Nice looking 4Runner Roguesport1. I've been looking real hard at the Surco rack but still have not made up my mind.. Could you post some more pics of your runner? BTW I'm from North Carolina(Raleigh) we are actually quite progressive.

Please understand I was referring to the "tool" who was cracken on my runner!! It was all in gest. I think NC is a fine state.

I have used the Surco on my old Tahoe and now my T4R, but I don't mount it per instructions. The kit gives you cross bar that mount on top of your fact rack then under the basket. This setup, I feel put the rack too high off the body(personal) also exposes to much for air current to make wind noise.

I will take some detailed picts and let you know

Friday I will take some photos of my mounting and how I put it on the fact. roof rack, also will take some of how I wired it and give some details.
Something else that I did is only ordered two surco light mounts and drilled holes in the two verticle supports to accomidate two more light, it took some time to measure it all out but was worth it. It all lines up perfectly.

I have to find out how to put more than one pict in a reply or thread.

Erich, you are ARB'd out. very impressive. I want to see, where do I go?

Greenmonster, you have the same truck as me, I almost got the grey. Do you have Xreas? What do you think! and do you feel a difference with the k&n.(mileage better)

As for calling me "an idiot", looks who's the mature 3rd grader now. LOL

BTW, I don't have to post all my mod list just to advertise to people. AND I sold my whimpy truck for an Yamaha R1. try that when you have the BALLS.
