Decided to start a thread of the slow transformation process of my T4R kinda like a diary for my mods...

Was in Napa/Sonoma with my sister's family during 06/15 through 06/22. We stayed at the Del Dotto Winery cottage. Got the perks cuz my brother-in-law's a VIP there. Snapped a couple shots of the 4R in the Del Dotto Vineyards. 4R got really dirty that day. Here's a pic...:D
Oh, and I threw on the Yakima Load Warrior (prevously on my G35)

Thanks!!! The pics are taken without a wash for about 2 weeks... that's why I didn't post any full body pics.
 
Mole177 came by on 06/23 and installed the Volant intake for me. Install was a piece of cake (at least for me cuz all I did was hand him the tools. hehe). Thanks Mike!
This thing sounds awesome and it makes you believe that your hp increased by 100+ :D

BLACK PEARL EMBLEMS

Santa Claus came to my work today and dropped off these Black Pearl Emblems (Gift from Burtman).

The two front (easiest to install) BLACK PEARL emblems!!! You gotta see these in person cuz the picture does it nooooo justice. The rest will be installed by the dealer

I would love stuff like that for my GG Sport , but a little at a time.
 
The black pearl emblems were custom ordered through Burtman. Give him a call... but be warned... don't freak out with the price.
Once I get them all on, I'll post a pic in sunlight.
 
no update pictures of the black emblem yet??? i am so thirsty to see them!!!! i just wonder if it will look good on white 4R
 
I would love those black emblems on my Galactic Grey Sport.

Love the JAOS skid plate , not a fan of the rear bumper guard though.


What else is in the works , tires , lift ???
 
Sorry no updated pictures of the emblems. I took it to a local body shop and they got the rear "Toyota" on and looked good. Then they started on the "4" "R" "U" "N" "N" "E" "R" and it came out really $hitty. I think the guy was drunk (or maybe just $tupid) cuz it was all crooked. I stopped him from doing anymore of them and left. I'll have to strip them off and redo them but I haven't had the time. Gotta go get new 3M double stick tape and shape them to the letters. :mad:

Finally got my brush guard on with the Challenger lights. :D

And I got a ping from Burtman that the Borla's on its way.

I need to find a good picture host site cuz I'm gonna run out of space in the T4R.ORG gallery.

Oh yeah, I also got the "TRD" chrome tire air caps on and "TRD" plate bolts in the rear. Will post pics up soon.

Check out my sig. it's got the list of mods. I will be doing the lift a little later. I'm figuring if I want to go with the TRD/BBS rims cuz I'm actually really really liking the limited rims.

Oh and if URD does come through with a reliable S/C, I'm thinking of that too along with Y-pipe... But these are big if's.
 
Updates

Here's the Weather Tech Floorliners on the driver side. Got them for the fronts, rear, and cargo area for the bottom of the double decker system. The floorliners are clearly the best accessory added to my 4R. When to Napa with my Sister's family and I'm glad that I had these in. The kids tracked dirt, sand and pebbles in to the car and the floorliners totally saved the carpet. Also, they spilled milk and dropped crumbs of food everywhere. All I had to do was lift out the floorliner and wipe up the $hit and they're good as new. :D

View of the rear completed. The emblems are Black Pearl. The "4Runner" emblems will have to be re-done cuz the shop screwed it up.

Got an email from Jason Burtman saying that my Borla's due to arrive. Will post up pics when installed.
 
Borla Exhaust

Got the Borla installed today.:D
It's pretty deep sounding and pretty loud. If coasting, you can't tell it's there but at cruisin speed with slight gas, the exhaust tone is a little lower. When stomping on the gas, it's pretty loud. I was shooting around on local streets and a car alarm went on as I was passing it.:D
