Enjoying continued beach weather here in Florida and tested my new tires on some soft sand. Originally wanted to go with the Yokohama Geolander 015s but the white letter version is on backorder so I went with a new tire; the BFG Trail Terrain T/A. It's a bit less aggressive than the K02 but still has a legit A/T looking tread and sidewall. So far, I'm impressed at the low noise level and even without airing down I had no issues with soft sand. I know there's a lot of other tires out there but in the 18s, getting OWL or RWL is limited. No Falken or Michelin to choose from either. I also considered the Coopers and General Grabbers but went with the BFG's for the looks.
