What is the specific color dip you used for the rear emblems? I’ve been thinking about spraying all the chrome emblems on my off road and yours turned out great!

Thanks!! I used plastic dip anthracite gray to match the "Toyota" gray in the front. It turned out awesome!

Killer build man, just a few questions since im a little new to the whole lifting side of trucks. When you did the 6112, and the 5110, did you only replace the shocks or did you do springs as well? Also aren't the TRD wheels only 7 inches wide? did you have trouble finding a shop to mound the 285's on a 7inch wide wheel?

Thanks!! Yeah I replaced the shocks and springs, it came in a set. It's a very smooth ride so far. I didn't have any trouble or at least the shop didn't bring up any issue when they put on the 285s for me. Hope this helps!

Hey - saw that you're running the Cooper pro's in 285 on the TRD 17's. I'm about to purchase either Duratracs or the coopers in same size on same black trd wheels. How many miles have you put on the coopers, what conditions have you had them in, and what's your experience been?

Open to anyone chiming in if they've run either of these tires recently.

Did you have to trim the TRD skid plate to fit with KDSS? Looks good!

Is your plan with the CAI to remove it for smogging eventually and then reinstall once again? I hear good things about sound (not so much for performance) but still can’t find many folks doing this mod in Cali in 2017 or 2018 vehicles.

I've put about 10,000mi on then so far... They have great off-road and so far they've done decent in snow. Haven't had any icing conditions yet. They seem to be wearing well I've heard they become really loud after about 30k miles. So far I'm happy and would probably purchase again at the given price point.

Update : Painted my TRD Skid plate

I ended up painting my TRD Skid plate black with the red "TRD" . I opted to do this vs getting a vinyl stickers because of longevity plus it was something to do. I matched the black and red to the rim colors so it would match. Next up roof rack
