So how would a guy go about doing that? Im a novice to the roof rack world... you just mean get the reack to set down in between the cross bars?

a lot of racks come with plastic "clamps" to mount to your crossbars. the clamps are often thick
I threw those aside and used 6 hose clamps to go to the crossbars. A screw gun and hex bit make it fast.
got rid of those 1.5 inches of "clamp" between my rack and crossbars. does not sound like much but made a difference
but my next rack will get rid of the crossbars and go direct to the track

I want a bumper. Looking into northwestern trail innovations. Not a huge fan of ARB, I love the shrockworks but a little pricey. What should I do next? A. Retro fit headlights. B. EBay upper control arms. C. After market skid plate.????

205k. Yeah they did. It's wiring was a mess but they told me it was I lined all that out so I'm about to do a retro fit in the next couple of weeks
