does anybody know the watts on the 01 Limited 6 Disc/Cassette player models?

i also want to get maybe a sub in the future(nothing to big) and don't know if i should upgrade to a regular Alpine or Pioneer HU or get one of these Scion like you guys have...

I'd save up and get an OEM touch screen navigation system and put it in. The only problem is that it is so low down on the dash that it's really out of view

How much do you think factory navigation is? More than that. And you can find aftermarket ones cheaper than a grand too.

my friend put that Kenwood HU in his 02 T4R SR5... it is sweeeeeeet... that's what i'll be saving up for, for now the scion one will do

Well my post was directed to Kelly to begin with because she was talking about the factory touch screen nav.

This is true that there are cheaper ways of achieving it...but I have Navi Envy that the 4Runner was never offered with Navigation in the 3rd generation.

Yes, but why would you go to the factory for Navi when you can get the same thing or better from aftermarket companies? All the better ones are touch screen too, and have more features than anything the factory has offered.
