My girl just always complains about how much time i waste on my 4runner and that i should just sell the darn thing, and when i threaten to sell she breaks down and begs me not to sell it haha, i like the rims and i too wonder what size the tires are look huge

When I saw Ghetto I was expecting to see something that was slammed with 22 inch DUBS and candy paint fo shizzle. I was pleasantly supprized to see it was nothing even resembling a ghettomobile. Looks good!

Pretty sure 231mm would fit.

Yup she hates the big tires (285) and that she hit her shin trying to get into the truck. I love it! But she can only give her opinion she knows this is my baby and I'll do whatever I want to it.

Yup 285/70/17 with 1.25 spacers. I don't have pictures of the shifter. It's just a block. Nothing to impressive.

I am not a fan of the wheels, honestly. I thought I was, then I tried a set on my 4runner and HATED it. I do want new wheels, but no idea what I want.

The truck looks good though overall =) I should lift mine some day.

Whenever I leave town my wife puts hundreds of miles on my 4runner and tells me she didn't go anywhere. A friend spotted her smoking an Integra at a stop light in town, I guess. haha

Ghetto is not a word I'd use to describe this rig.

As much as I think the 17" Tundra rims look the best on the 4runner, these FJs are a real close second. I wonder if they will clear some 231mm calipers?

I just bought (2) 285/70r17 BFGs (KM2s) and I'm running AT's in the front. This is my second set of tires and not my primary but now my truck falls in this catergory for sure "my rig is ghetto"

Anyone else riding like this?

WOW...what an entertaining thread...My husband uses the whole "dont let the wife out of the kitchen" line all the time too...its just cause he doesnt want to be out done in the garage...:lmao:
