the other side of the garage. My wife love driving it and wants it . So the fight continue's and maybe getting something else for me . She had a chance to spend quite a bit of seat time in it this weekend and fell in love with it. Now she understand's. She did'nt really like the Rav because of 1st year production and for some reason a very small selection around here , Highlander was out , she hate's that, so do I .....so ????

I was at the Hummer dealer doing a demo. on some care care product's. She was there for a short time and left me there for the day. She came back about a half a tank later.....lol. I had alot of fun though especially after hour's playing on the obstacle course with the dealer sponsored club. Fun driving other peoples vehicles.

Right now I'm fightin for my 4R.......I like my Runner alot even though there are things I don't like about it . Always a trade off. I would def. miss the V8 power.

No FJ for me , it's pretty cool just not for me .

I was just doing a demo at Hummer , I do like the H3's alot but don't think I want to go there either.....never know though. I know it has it's problem's but so does everything else.

I got the new Perf Products catalog yesterday with all the new FJ stuff. I think it might be time to replace the tired old Celica with an FJ.

In my opinion the H3 is underpowered. I guess it is the economical Hummer but that inline 5 is just gutless.

I totally agree with the under powered , but off road with gearing it's great . I saw them do some amazing thing's for a stock off the shelf vehicle.

This is true but if your buying it purely for off-road capability isn't there another vehicle out there that can give you the best of both worlds? i have no problems with Hummers i think they are great. I just think GM made a mistake using an engine that is barely powerful enough to power the Canyon/Colorado pickup let alone a heavier H3.

I agree , its not bad but not good either , the 4.56 gears help alot but it does lack power.

I won't buy another 4R.

Since this is for you only, i would get either FJ Cruiser or the new '07 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

I do take customer's with me and take some road trip's so the Jeep would be out of the question , would'nt go with the shirt & tie.....lol.

I atill have mixed emotions about the FJ , nice vehicle I'm sure but not to my liking. I think the styling is not very appealing.

I just don't want 2 of the same vehicles in the garage. If we end up doing anything I'll prob. go to an H3. Really nothing else I like in an off road SUV , and as we all know the pickin is mighty slim in an SUV that can handle off roading. Although I heard Ford is retooling the Exploder for more of an off road SUV and the new crossover is basically taking it place as the AWD on road SUV.....but still not interested in it.

I maintain my 4R really well and detail it all the time , but do pound on it pretty hard , mud , curb hopping , all around beating. I do love the 4R and hope I'll just keep it and wife will move on to more important things......lol

If you had the opportunity to wait a year I'm sure the market will be flooded with new suvs to your liking. Companies are hurting for sales right now and a fresh new product might be the only solution.

why not look at the Xterra? These things are very capable offroad and more comfortable/roomy than the Wranglers. The wheelbase is short (no high-centering), and you can get 265HP V6 with a 6 speed manual (or 5 spd auto). Approach angle is awesome and there are lots of forums about modding these.

I personally do not like foriegn vehicles ! So I won't go to the Nissan. The only foriegn vehicles I like and mainly because of the reputation are the Toyotas and Lexus. Damn good stuff IMO.

We don't know and are not in a big hurry , just browsing , exploring options.

My 4R has 9k miles of pounding on it so far , I love with the exception of some of the ele. control crap I HATE with a passion.

Never been divorced, have you??
Yes, and I kept the house both times! But it was a long time ago.

Since then, I found a loophole in the law so I don't have to worry about any more divorces.... DON'T GET REMARRIED! Works like a charm.

And I don't have to share my new 4Runner with anyone.
