I must say, Alex, your bumper is the cleanest fit/style bumper on a 4th gen that I have seen. Good stuff....

sorry.... i already spoke with him before reading the thread again. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna be calling him tomorow again so ill let him know.

by the way the spare tire mount is on its way, he said about 2 weeks. thanks again for the info and i'll post some pics soon as i get it and put it on. thanks!!!!
 
Alex - what's with this "custom" suspension of yours? No write up on this? I want details man! J/K... I would like to know more about this though...
 
What's custom?...It's CUSTOM. The suspension I'm building up is 7" of lift. I didn't finished it yet, but so far it looks like this:

What exactly did you do to your suspension for that height? Ive been tossing around ideas about front tacoma lift kit and maybe coils and spacers in the rear. Im curious as to how you "solved" it.
 
Very simple from one point of view and not that simple from another.

Basically, I build FIRST (#1) 4WD 4Runner with 7" lift. Wow, how nice this is sounds.

What I did is: took drop bracket from Fabtech 6" lift with Fabtech spindles and droped the front diff. Then added Fabtech coilovers with custom upper mounts to gain 7" of lift. After all - rebuild the rear starting with control arms and finishing with a dri-shaft, ofcourse using new shocks and coils which were sourced from different suppliers.

This is also my daily driver, so it took me nearly 2 month to the point where I'm now and I still have some stuff to finish.
