My 4Runner Project

I jussst got my 4Runner ('08) on the 10th! I wish I would've bought one back in '06 instead of my stupid Civic purchase! Hmm.. what do you still have?
Oh, and maybe you'll know the answer to this... can a skid plate still be installed with the Manik Grill that you had?
p.s. I love those wheels on your 4Runner. They're badass on black!

I have my front skid plate which wouldn't work with the big lift now. It should fit any 4th Gen. 4Runners and doesn't metter if you have a Manik Guard or not.
I do also have my rear bumper guard and tire carrier. I'm not sure if the guard will work on '08 rear bumper (they changed the design in 2006), but the tire carrier will fit (it's hitch based).

What's custom?...It's CUSTOM. The suspension I'm building up is 7" of lift. I didn't finished it yet, but so far it looks like this:

Did you display your Runner at the dealerships grand opening or some event? I bet people looking into buying a 4runner were green with envy of your 4Runner. hahaha...

Some sort of. The dealership was recently opened, so they decided to make some promotional show. They put their own vehicles all around and couple customers one on the parking lot in front of the main entrance. They did source me by their parts manager who saw my truck on the way home. Here in Canada the was only one 4Runner like mine and probably in the whole world ;).
They asked me to participate in event in return of a free oil change and couple souvenirs. So I and my friend who has the only one FJ with 6" ProComp kit in Canada were there for a day (his FJ is yellow staying on the left side of my truck).

did you tint the fronts? Seems a little lighter than the back, so im guessing 35%? or im just seeing things......

:bugeye:

HOLY CRAP! Wow, AlexJet, you leave for a little while and come back with more cool stuff. Your truck looks so much different now than several months ago. The only thing I remember that is constant is that NASA decal on your rear window. Nice job, dude! Welcome back.

:D

Damn......forget 'Truck of the Month'. This qualifies you for 'Truck of the Year!'

That is one sweet ride. Planning on doing a write-up of the lift?

Awesome!

Glad you like it.
How the tires work out? What about the coils?

tires look great and feel pretty good too...it's a nice ride....as for the coils, I think I should be OK without them....good luck with the garage sale!

The saga continues.
