My 4Runner Project

New truck in my Garage. First it was only 4Runner, but now RAV4 will make it company.

My 2005 4Runner
5" lift, 35" tires, full armor, winch, snorkel, ...., and allot of custom DIY work done.

Wife's 2001 Rav4
2.5" lift

- WAAG Front Bumper Guard
- WAAG Rear Bumper Guard
- KC Slimlite Fog
- KC 800 Driving
- Ventshade Window Visors
- Polar Bear Taillight Guards
- K&N Typhoon Intake
- Konig Heatsing Rims
- 245/70-R16 Toyo OpenCountry AT (+2" to stock)
- Modified (custom) Spare Tire carrier
- OME Lift (awaiting delivery)
- LED Taillights (awaiting delivery)

Where do you get those lights from? Driving Lights that is?

And the 4Runner is lookin really good!

Theres no keeping up with you....that thing is so tough looking !!!

How many miles do you have on the truck ?

Does it still feel solid as when you got it ?

60k and runs solid.

I cant remember which one he has, but he has been tinkering with the lifts since he got it. He has had fj parts on it too. Very complicated..... hahaha...
 
Henry is right, its very complicated. Mainly because none of aftermarket manufacture makes what I want. So I'm just using several parts from several kits, stand alone parts and ALOT of custom work which involves cuting, fitting, grinding, welding, ...

If you want, then you can pass by my place and I'll fabricate something for you too.:D

Alex, great looking truck, been looking at it for a year since I joined.

I would love to see some shots of this thing in action. I just spent some time searching through the 120 forum as well as the FJ Ontario forum and couldn't turn up any results, any way you could post or link some here?

Its winter here, so 99% of the trails are closed and transformed to snowmobile ones. This means very limited activity now.
May should be start of a new season. Will post some pictures and reveiw new upgrades then.
Wasn't much trailing past summer as we had a baby in September + was and still do, modifying my wife's truck ('01 RAV4)
 
And the works is still going. There are a few things already done and other in progress which are not published here yet. Just don't have enough time to document everything.
 
There are a few things new on the Runner, but I build some cool stuff for my wife's RAV4 as well. Here some pictures for teasing...

I'm still waiting for a few ordered lights. (Front - primed, Rear - painted)

oh awesome so there already installed?? and i have seen pics of it. she has a lot of lights already. the most i have ever seen on a rav4 haha. good job and yea get some pics up

Stock - no lift, stock tires, the only modification is WAAG front guard and KC lights:

WORK IN PROGRESS - 3" front lift (rear is 1.5" as of this picture, working on another 1.5"), +2" tires = 4" of total ground clearance increase over stock, front and rear bumpers, radio,...
