Sorry if this has been posted already, I couldn't find anything on it.

Have any of you had the misfortune of accelerating too quickly with the rear window down? Fills the truck with the terrible smell of a fart! Makes you sick and dizzy.

Yes, it's a common ailment and there's a TSB out there that addresses it. Do a search on "sulphur smell". There's also a sticky post in the warranty section of this forum.

I did a 150 mile trip in the mountains, with the rear window down yesterday. I didn't smell anything the whole trip. I have a 05 V8, with 1K miles. Maybe the redesigned spoiler helped.

Toyota changed the Cats mid way through '04. Late model 2004's and 2005's benefit from the redesigned cats.
