sorry about my last post I got the picture thing figured out. anyway the previous owner left a lot of things half done and I'm trying to figure it out. I have never owned a 4runner and dont know anyone local to help me , my first issue is a missing vacuum line??? left side under hood behind fuse box, in photo is one missing or is that connection supposed to be unused???. second issue is left side of dash next to the clutch cancel button, I have 3 empty switch holes with 2 wire harness plugs behind them, everything seems to be working but I dont know whats supposed to be there (in second photo) third issue is some metal plate bolted to front frame rails below the bumper, the valance was missing and the piece doesnt look stock, I have a valance on the way but I doubt its gonna bolt up. I suspect its supposed to be a cross frame bar and if so was it originally bolted or welded in place. (third photo) I appreciate any help you guys can give me John

The hose in the first picture goes from that box to the upper portion of the air box. I included a picture of the hose.
Second picture looks like the previous owner had his own switches in the empty slots. There should just be dummy covers over them. The wire might have been an accessory that he put in and then pulled out when he sold it???
I included a picture from DRL thread but it shows you what the dummy covers look like.
Third picture looks like your missing the lower valence piece.
Look at this picture you can see the front piece your missing

thanks for the help, my truck has an aftermarket aircleaner so thats why the previous owner never hooked it up, I'll have to tap in to that to add that hose, thanks on the switch covers, I'm going to add some switches for lights etc. so I'll just put them in there. I still not sure what the original frame rail cross piece is supposed to look like. if anyone has a photo with the bumper off I would appreciate it, I have a friend that can help me weld up something if I have some idea what it looks like.
