my 97 sr5 build

Ok finally got her out of the garage! I still need to finish building the rear bumper, bolt the rear flairs on and a few other things!

Lol yesterday after i pulled her out i went to put the rear springs back in (had to remove them to get in and out of my garage door) i foundout my floor jack finally died so picking up a new jack today when the family and i are out running around.

Also need to do a little trimming behind the corners of the new front bumper and maybe add a tiny triangle corner to each side where it meets the flair. (I'd say i did a pretty good job for never building a bumper before!)

Last night i test fired the lighting (NEED to get some night shots) she lights up the night and will burn your eyeballs out ifvyou look at her wrong lol. With all the lights turned on i have a full 360° ball of flaming daytime light being thrown from the bumper and roof rack ;)

The front seats took a little work to get in too. They are late 80s MR2 seats, i had to cut the legs off of the stock seats and weld them onto the tracks of the mr2 seats, plus made a bracket to bolt the seatbelt to, but i am VERY happy with the way thry came out and feel these are some of the most comfy seats ive ever had

Finally got her all back together and inspected today! A little while ago i took some night shots of the all the lights.

Cheap JVC disc player, but man it sounds good with all the new speakers, Memphis 1000D amp and two 12s! Also intalled this 12v outlet/ usb charge port/ volt gauge and rear view camera setup.

That roof rack is awesome! Front bumper is pretty stout looking too. Any chance you will share the blueprints, or was it all free hand after your sketches?

Lol I did a mix of free hand and posterboard for mockup on bumper, the roof rack was pretty much all free hand and countless test fits, but i would have no problem taking the measurements and drawing up a quick blueprint for anyone that wants/ needs it. One of my friends already plans on taking measurements and copying the front bumper.

Got her all put back together an lights aimed for now. Still need to finish cleaning the wheels up and paint them (silver or pewter). Time for a break till next weekend when i will hopefully have all the parts to throw a 3 inch lift under her!

Love the green! That's some serious good work...

And with that rack on top, you can confidently ask anyone else.... "Do you even roof rack bro?"

I found a rear hatch ladder for $216, so now that is added to the list!

Rear hatch ladder
3 inch lift
Bigger new tires

Yesterday i got the rear lifted 3.5 inches, removed the rear sway bar and got the wheels painted!

Hopefully i can get some sleep and get the 1inch diff drop done later today. The 3 inch lift front struts should be in tuesday, and i also ordered a set of wheel spacers and
305 70 16s that will be here mid week.

Got the front lift and diff drop done tonight, then went to adjust my toe and this happened....something isnt right here lol.

New tierod ends will be here hopefully in a few minutes and then i can finish getting her back together.

Found this hitch mount cargo carrier at Homedepot $60 on clearance. I walked out the door with it for $15.49! Cheap enough to cut up!

I used one side of the rack to build my hatch ladder, and picking up some angle iron tomorrow after work to use with some more of it to build my hitch mount motorcycle carrier.

Now im just waiting on the 3rd coat of bedliner to dry so i can mount ny new ladder!
