My antivirus detects virus's/malware on T4R.ORG

Did you ever notice that the advertisements on T4R.org pertain to things you search for on Google a few times?

I was on some Star Wars forum trying to figure out a game that my wife bough; now all my adds on T4R are for Star Wars The Old Republic. I would be willing to bet a dollar or two that this is why...

X11 this happened to me twice yesterday. One of the sites was the Canvas program from my university. But i got this scary looking screen basically telling me I'm gonna die etc... I made sure to get a screen shot the second time.

I got it on my mac and busted right in. JK... Even though I was more than likely safe to, I had better things to do than mess with a puter problem.

My anti virus softare at home will not let me on t4r.org for the same reasons as mentioned. Whats the deal with that?

Me too I run malwarebytes and it keeps telling me it's blocking stuff from this forum. Doesn't happen on any of the other Forums I use.

I highly suggest everyone with Firefox run the "noscript" add-on. It controlls and limits other websites from running JavaScript in the background.

Example settings for t4r.

Allow: toyota-4runner.org
forbid: shady site 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ect.....

Its free, try it out!

Malware Bytes = great software.
ESET = best antivirus, well respected
Norton = IT support laughing at you; kind of like still using AOL in 2012.
