My Audio Install

In the last week I decided to install new door speakers, XM radio, and a 4 channel amp. I previously had a Alpine headunit, monoblock amp, and 2 10" subwoofers.

This last install finally wrapped the system up. The bass is very tight and hits very hard. I am not a person that likes that annoying drone sounding bass. I like my music to be very accurate and precise. This is the system that did it.

First of all, I would like to just say that the install was fairly easy. The old mono amp was installed by a professional shop and my install looked much better. That was a big shocker for my first install.

I don't have any pictures of the actual wire routing and directions on how exactly I did it but you can ask questions if you need to.

Here is my complete setup:

Alpine CDA-9856
Fullspeed iPod Cable
Terk XM Adapter
XM Direct
JBL GTO607C 6.5" 2-WAY Component Speaker - 70W RMS [front]
JBL GTO527 5-1/4" 2-WAY Coaxial Speaker - 45W RMS [rear]
JL e1400d Monoblock Amp - 400W
JL a4300 4Channel Amp
2 JL 10W1V2 Subwoofers in JL Box

Many of you may look at those numbers and say, "Hey, that isn't very much power" All I can say is that your ears will be ringing at 1/2 volume.
