ok lets get back on topic here, sorry seems some people just try to ruin others threads.
Ive also added a Rear Tub, but it wasnt a "perfect" fit with the new GMade piggybacks, so what I did was take a heat gun, and slowly reformed it, now its not the greatest but it does work lol.
Later Ill be adding scale stuff, like a Optima battery, Jerry cans, Powertank, Hi-Lift, toolbox etc etc
We will prob take these out and go crawling this weekend if the weather holds out lol

I had a Rustler back in the day, and was thinking about building another RC (I have a huge back yard).
Is the Wraith just a 'crawler, or can it go fast?

out of the box, its both, was lots faster than I thought it would be, and crawls pretty good, Im setting mine up as a crawler as thats what I want it to do, it now has no top end speed buit more low end crawling power. Lots of people want a good balance of both, and they IMHO are great for both out of the box.
Id check locally and see if there are any R/C clubs or shops, see if they will let you run it down the street once and see if its fast enough out of the box for ya, I know that some buld them to just go fast something like the desert racing stuff.
Just remember, building these, swapping motors/esc is a lot cheaper than than the real rigs lol

These are so much fun, you can make them a serious crawler or a go fast racer, or even a very nice median of a fast wheeler (dessert racer) or a good crawler with some speed. It can be addicting lol Im thinking about getting a winch for it, and yes, its a working winch lol
Went out today after adding a spare tire carrier of sorts lol

My son is really interested in a RC crawler and I plan on getting him one soon. If u don't mind me asking, what does it cost to get started? I don't mind paying for a quality unit, but I have no idea what that would be. Whats a good brand? What should I avoid? Sorry about so many ?s

Pretty popular in my neck of the woods.. I just never really got into it. It looks like a lot of fun and I'm sure it's a lot easier on the wallet with mods compared to ones for our real vehicles lol. Your rig is cool though. I think I just enjoy being behind the bigger steering wheel is all. However, I'd be 100x less concerned of breakage and "beauty marks" from the trails with that thing compared to my truck lol.
