My baby won't start!! Help!

Hey, so on my way to Jasper for a weekend away I pulled over to take some photos and shut off my truck. When I got back in it wouldn't start, I can here the starter cranking but no ignition. Could this be the starter solenoid that is failing? When I try to start it kinda sounds like a vacuum.

I managed to get my family to push me until I could dump the clutch in first and it started fine.

Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like the bendix is gone in the starter.
If you find it happening again, climb under with a hammer and tap lightly where the metal housing meets the aluminum mount of the starter while someone else is holding the key in the start position.
If it starts, then the bendix is gone. replace (or rebuild) starter.
That tapping will get you out a couple times but won't last.

The starter is only 5 months old from Napa Auto Parts, do you know of somewhere I can buy a rebuild kit? Or don't I need one.. I don't know. I've never had this happen before. Last one just died, this one half works.

Edit: Found the receipt, going to go see if they will replace it for me.
