Congrats !! She's a beauty . I like that blue. Post more info on her. I just got my first Toy4R last Sat. I had to fly to Houston Tx to adopt her. took 7 hrs. to drive back home...but she's worth every mile. Im trying to decide what to name her. Im thinking about the name "Tink" being that I know ill be tinkering on her. This is my little bundel of Joy.

Well, Congrats on your sweet find, I am sure you'll love the quality and the enjoyment to drive for years to come. I can't see the attachment tho. would love to check it out.

Here is my 4Runner spec:

-1999 SR5 4x4
-139xxx miles on her now.
-Got her around last December for approx. $9,000
-Carfax record mint!
-Got one minor and one major service done at Toyota dealership to keep her running strong.
-Hella 500
-Optima Redtop 34R
-No major mod as of yet, but planning to add SS 7.1 lift and Nitto TG 285/75/16 eventually.

Already in the making. I ordered some Black Westin nerf bars for it. I also have a skid plate from a 2002 SR5 Sport on the way. Im trying to decided what the best Body lift kit I should get for it. Im thinking about maybe 2 in. I think it will look ok with 265/70/16's on it.

I have those on my Stock 2wd and they fit fine... you can def go bigger with a lift... by the way I noticed you live in Kenner... I live in Baton Rouge

Thats really Cool ! My Mom and Sister live in Prairieville. She use it live off of ONeil lane. I was just up there yesterday. Maybe we can hook up sometime.

yalls first mod needs to be to drop the running boards

But very nice 4runners

I actually did removed my running boards, but decided to put them back on since I havn't lift the truck and without big tires yet. I thought stock runners looked kind of "empty" without the running boards, but definitely looks better without running boards when lifted and big tires.

thanks for the compliments fellas.. I try to keep the Black Pearl clean.. I spent 8 hours wet sanding and buffing it to get all the orange peal out of the paint... Now I hand wash once a week and wax about once a month.. thats my baby as the thread is titled! =)

I've heard many 4runner owners hype roger brown's body lift kits as being the best.
