my cheap alternative to the husky floor mats

i recently upgraded the mats in the runner and did not want to pay a couple hundred for the husky's
i got these from walmart, $10 each front mat and $4 for each rear. they are VERY thick and have the little spines underneath to keep the mat still.
the rear cargo was $26 and is cut to fit. i, however, did a terrible job cutting it and have to clean it up a bit but the sides are about 1.5-2 inches all the way around, like the husky's. i cut the tiedowns out of the rubber and that is what keeps it in place. also, i cut the feet for the basslink out so it can grab the carpet.

i like em and someone may want to use these as a cheper mod. my .02

$54 for all interior mats! less than anything i have seen. though they are not "molded" to the runner, a very cheap alternative to them. they will serve their purpose and im sure they'll last!

I have the same exact ones. They are great! After getting in and out on a rainy day you would not believe how much water drips off your shoes but it just collects in the "channels". I got mine for free out of a totaled car at my friends shop.

PS I also have the tan leather interior with the grey mats. still looks fine!

BTW:

How does that bass link sound? I hear 2 things, either it's great or it sucks. Never heard anyone say it was just ok.

you wont hear it outside the car from a mile away. thats what i love about it. it vibrates the seats and for 180, cant comlain. biggest plus i like about it, it's a sinch to remove if i need the space (rare). i love it and the people who say they dont are the ones with 2 12's!

yes I see this is an old thread but you are correct sir either the Husky liners or the similar Weather Tech products are pricey relative to your results.

I do like that full coverage in the back cargo area you accomplished and still have the use of the tie downs.

My Bass Link is vertically mounted like yours in same location- but pointed front and rear as opposed to your side to side mounting....hmmm another train of thought...

I am considering mounting it horizontally or top and bottom to continue the analogy-but discovering I lack the proper brackets and 2 more threaded rods to do so. Anyone out there got extra Bass Link pieces not being used?

i have the front ones, got them free they hold up nice after 2 years . give them a good cleaning once in a while and it looks new! i gotta pick up the rear mats though 4 bucks per?! im going

I bought the Costco Mats front and rear in grey for $16, and Santa go me a Husky Liner for the cargo which really doesn't have a generic substitute because the cargo needs the lip and that extra protection. Got some pics.

I hit a couple of Wally Marts today and it would appear these are no longer sold

I do see a lot of rubber mats there-but their cargo area selection is weak.

I don't have the rear cargo mat, but I do have the two front mats identical to these, just in Tan. They have held up for about 3 years worth of use (and 6 years of ownership - I use them in the winter and fall). Fit great and are deep to keep a lot of accumulation inside the mat
