I've finally received my cornfed lift!
It did not take too long to get here but it will take longer for me to get around to installing it and the wheel spacers...

You had CF custom make a 2.5/1.5 lift? If so please measure the front preload and front top out spacer thicknesses, thanks.

how much did this lift cost, with shipping?

how much for the wheel spacers? What is the advantage of using these wheel spacers?

Do they just make the stance wider? Is there a disadvantage to spacers?

when did you order this kit, i ordered a 2/1 on october 2 and have not recieved anything, :nono:

Call or email Jason Burtman. I had no issues communicating with him on this order.

Lift costed more than I would have liked it to but I think it was worth it. Contact Jason Burtman for pricing details.

The wheel spacers cost less on the Burtman site than the Spidertrax site when I ordered them. I should have ordered them from Jason and saved some money...

The wheel spacers space out the placement of the wheels a slight bit, yes, a little wider. Just a little compensation for raising the center of gravity with the lift.
I am not aware of any disadvantages with spacers aside from possible rubbing depending on your tire and suspension set up.

I will this weekend once I find a ruler.
You want photos of them as well?

Anyone want the cornfed sticker? I do not plan on using it.

i have emailed him and called , the only info i get is that he forwards my messages to Dave @ cornfed and thats all i get, been going on for two weeks now...

I measured the spacers last night and there appears to be a measurement issue.
One rear spacer measures 1.75" thick and the other rear spacer measures 1.5" thick.
1.5" lift for the rear is what I was hoping for.

The measurements for the front spacers set appear to be fine in terms of consistency but that is all.
Each polyethylene spacer for the front (the preload spacer) measures 1.125" thick.
Each aluminum spacer for the front (the topout spacer) measures .5" thick.
Although I am not sure if the total of 1.625" will get me the 2.5" lift that I am hoping for; it seems like it will end up being a 3.25" lift (based on the ratio explained by J.A.) in the front which is not what I want. If my math is incorrect here please advise and correct.

I am not sure if the rear spacers result in a lift reflecting the exact measurements of the rear spacers. If anyone knows if there is a ratio there as well please advise.

I emailed Jason at Burtman Industries about this and left a voicemail yesterday afternoon.
No response yet. :(

There is no ratio to apply for the rear. If you want 1.5" the spacer needs to be 1.5". Having one spacer at 1.75 is not really a bad thing as one side of the vehicle is always lower than the other, so just use the taller spacer on the lower side.

As to the front, all I can say is that the DS kit is 1" topout and 0.5" preload (opposite of CF) and that yielded 3" of lift. I am sure JasonB will give you the scoop as the 2:1 ratio is a estimate only...perhaps the 2:1 ratio varies weather it is preload or topout? Good Luck.

:iagree: With my 200lb butt and the gas tank my left side is a bit lower. I run my left Airlift bag with an extra few pounds to compensate. I think most have the left side a touch low and having the slightly thicker spacer to offset you and the gas may be a good thing:)

I definitely do not want the front to be lifted over 3" but that is what it looks like this set up will yield...
I have emailed Jason an additional inquiry in regards to the ratio on the front end...

Jason Burtman asked me to email the owner of Cornfed regarding the difference in measurements and confirmed that the front Cornfed spacers are half the size of the lift yielded upon install...

At this point, after ordering a 2.5" front, 1.5" rear cornfed lift it looks like I did not receive what I ordered aside from the one 1.5" rear lift spacer...

Quick question while you wait it out. What are some of the reasons for you to place a special order custom sized CF kit, knowing that DS makes that same sized kit for less money with quicker turnaround? Did you prefer Aluminum construction or prefer less topout? Just curious.

Aluminum construction is my primary reason and secondary reason was the use of a different poly than the Daystar kit.
My concern with the Daystar kit is the compression over time of the poly that they use.
I am not convinced that the topout will be much of an issue during the lifetime of XREAS and considering the size of the lift that I am seeking. Once XREAS dies I will likely switch it all out.
