My custom Rock Sliders

Mike Fox from fox fab (http://www.foxfab4x4.com) built these as custom rock slider kits for a group of us over at www.ne4roc.org. I am the only one with a 4th generation. Pete Hany from www.ctaxleservice.com finished the welding, primed, painted and welded them onto the body for me. I think they look great, and I will be testing them this Saturday out on the trails. So far they seem great, and both Mike and Pete deserve a lot of credit for the work they did.

Too bad you can't make it to Rausch, I'd love to see them in person!! Looks nice man.

Did the welder clean up the weld in the 3rd pic? Looks a little sloppy. In the 2nd pic are really nice welds. I'm no expert, just going by what I remember doing in shop class...

Yeah, he cleaned things up. The welds are actually so thick that little imperfections like that don't matter. The welds are thicker than the frame welds! Hopefully I'll make it to the next trip to Rauch creek or Paragon :(
