Figured i would share a couple pics of my new trekking pole/monopod....
Took a normal trekking pole, and started by removing the handle, and spending some time on the lathe
and came up with a couple adapters to make the GReddy shift knob adapt to the pole.
then assembled them on to the trekking pole
Now the function part of this project was to make this dual purpose. So when you unscrew the shift knob you get another set of threads.
Now you can attach your camera....
Not a new concept, but probably the first one to have 6 forward speeds!
