my dash cracked, common problem

hey guys, just noticed 2 approximately 3" cracks on the passenger side of the dash. you pinch them and they close and are invisible. anyone have the same problem? any fixes, besides replacing the dash....big bucks i'm sure.

You could try a product called "VLP" it's a vinyl glue basically...probably caused mostly by hot temperatures...If you live in a hot climate it's a really good idea to use those things in the window to decrease the sun damage (don't have that prob up here...lol)

If the cracks are near the air bag (it's printed on the dash) this is a known thin spot in the dash and any attempts to repair the dash may impair deployment of the bag. When I go to the desert I throw a towel up over the dash and when parked use my sun-shade over the windshield, don't really do anything around town but she's garaged so....
