Somehow only civics should have exhaust system's? I guess I should take the sweet sounding, beautifully made exhaust off my audi a4 which enhances the car in a lot of ways because you think it is ricey?...christ.
There is nothing wrong with putting an exhaust on our 4runner's don't listen to this doughnut head.

I'm fairly certain that's the one I had that I said I didn't like. It's just personal opinion, but if you want it to be louder it's a good option. I just didn't like how loud it was backing up and doing under 30.

You didn't like how loud it was or you wanted it louder? What did you replace it with?
I've read its a relatively quiet muffler compared to the Flowmaster Super 44 and the Borla XR1.
I'm looking for something that's louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud and through reading (haven't actually heard the muffler in person) on this forum. What would you suggest?

Actually I think I'm gonna have to look it up, may have been XR1.
It wasn't terribly loud normally, but it was obnoxious when I was backing out of parking spots and pulling into traffic and stuff like that until I got up to speed.
I'll go back and see if I can figure out which model it was in just a sec.

super 70 flowmaster
I think I have the best of both worlds with the super 70 ,it's basically same size as OEM but is oval , made for replacement on big block suv's , sound is nice at wot but not ricey ,freeway has a solid sound but not noticeable with a/c and or music on . Cost is on the high side @ then 147$, no resonator

I have heard a magnaflow catback on the v6 and its quiet compared to my flowmaster, blk-runner had the mag and while my truck was idling, the sound it much louder to his truck. If you dont want a loud muffler, try the 50 series, im thinking of going louder to a borla xr1 next. Crank the speakers up if you want to try and hear it on this vid.
