Newer parts off totaled 4runner.

My 04 got damaged and is being totaled out. I recently put on oem led taillights, new oem exhaust manifolds with a carvan dump exhaust and i have newer oem wheels with Cooper all terrain tires on it. The tires have good tread.

Any one interested? Trying to determine if worth my time to remove before I let it go

A lot of this comes down to your time/$$$/space equation. While new to 4Runners, I've been wrenching and on forums a long time. Some things may be worth money, but don't expect it tomorrow or even next week, although that can happen. Are you willing to wait a month or 3, or 6, or a year to get a good price from someone who really needs it? I'm too new to these to know what breaks and is worth money and what isn't.

But I salute you if you have the patience to sell to the forum.

If you are leaving the platform for another make, by all means sell the parts. If you are getting another 4th or 5th gen, a lot of those parts will carry over.

The way I look at it is the insurance company is already gonna screw me over one way or another I might as well take what i can off it that is no value at an insurance auction and get what I can for it. I have 3 kids and a mother I take care off id like to think im pretty patient most of the time anyway lol

Got some things off it today few more to go and ill add them to the ever growing pile of stuff I gotta get listed and sold in my garage smh.

Well that was the question and I wasn't sure of the answer right away but I am now 98% sure im gonna be going with a Tundra (gasp)

I had started looking at v8 4runners and 5th gen but I took a leap and went in another direction so everything will be sold. Id love to sell the talights as I got them new from Toyota but id have to find replacements cheap and someone to buy these ones. Not sure id be able to

I can try. The truck as a whole is going to insurance auction so theres only so much I can take off it.

I have a set of newer rims which cooper at3 tires with a date code frim 2021. Lots of tread on them

Husky front and back floor liners

I can sell the almost new OEM led tailights I put in but it would have to be some cash and trade for another set to put in its place.
