~original[/IMG] New to the forum, Just wanna introduce myself and my truck. :D My name's Teddy, I drive an 85' 4runner that's been in my family since 89. It was a gift to my mother from my father when they were dating. It was stolen from us in 2001, then we found it a couple months later in the mojave river bottom sitting in the sand, no wheels, axles were burried from the wind and sand moving... Horrible thing to see. In 05 the #4 cylinder destroyed itself. I saved up since i was 16, had a goal of $2,000 to fix the truck. Finally in March of this year, I pushed the truck into my garage, pulled the motor out and just about put a whole new motor in it... Everything is brand new except for the valve cover and head. Got everything individually and rebuilt the motor myself. Now she's running strong again! My daily driver, and my first vehicle. :D

Sorry for the long introduction, I'm a tad long winded. I look forward to being on this forum!

Good story and glad to see you save it and breathe new life into it again! Great looking rig, welcome to the forum!

Awesome and SWEET story, Teddy! And what a sweet dad you have :)
Intro is just right. Welcome to the forum, you lucky bastard! (That's what we call those who are so fortunate to have the best generation of the first generation - LOL!)

You have done the first step in keeping the MoreFunner. Please keep it for life. If not, let me know when you don't want it anymore :)

Cheers!
