ok im looking at getting a 3" toytech lift and i have a 1996 limited so i have a few questions to go with that being said. What is the clearance with a 3" lift. What else do i need to get along with just the lift kit? Last what size of tires look the best with the lift? Thanks guys in advance!

there is a stickied "lift" thread at the top of the 3rd gen section and this should answer most of ur questions... best tire size would be 33" tires IMO.

i suggest new bushings all the way round to stiffen up the steering, diff drop for cv angles and pan hard bar center the rear axle, you may also want to consider addco sway bars and some diconnects depending on what your doing with your ride.

i just installed the ome lift and am planning on doing sway bars, new bushings, diff drop and pan hard bar now..

what bushing were you referring to? I just bought a lift and was thinking I might need to change some out...

i was going to do tie rods, sway bar, and possibly steering rack, depends on how bad that last one is.
