My First Post! Just A "Few" Questions...
ok well this is my first post so im gonna ask a few differet categorized questions. I Dont mean to bombard my fellow 4runners with questions, but after viewing this board for about three months without making a sound, im gonna start off with a few things id like to receive a little feedback about.
my first is rainguards. if you ALREADY have them let me know weather you have the stick ons or the in channels. id read about the in-channels stretching out the rubber resulting in rattleing. BUT my windows, mainly my driver side, arready are lose. it bothers the crap out of me everytime i hit a bump my window rattles. so basically if my window already rattles should i just use them anyway as i noticed they lookk the nicest. but i also dont want sticky faded paint lines if i decided to put on the sticker ones. any input? and any brand? i like weathertech but they are pretty pricey..
my second is my idea for beefing up the truck. after lots of reading id like to go with the cornfed 3/2 setup along with the wheel spacers. both i plan on purchasing from jason b's website. i plan on then in about 2-3 months getting some bigger tires, but untill i get up extra money, do you think my stock tires will look like donuts? and what tire size should i be looking to get when i do get to that point? my final goal is to be mainly cosmetic, but i also do a lot of flat trailriding. again any imput good or bad would be awesome of you...
my last question is a general automobile question. after getting my windows tinted (limo all around) i noticed a type of stain look on my windows, that kind of look like water spots. i waited about a week then took it back to the tint shop and they told me it was from acid rain? or something that stained my windows and it had nothing to do with the tint. they pointed out that it was everywhere, even on my sunroof and my windshield. they told me that it happens often, but cant easily be seen until tinted. anyone ever heard of this? cause it makes my windows look like crap!
ok well i appreciate you reading me ramble on and on. i will hopefully have some pics soon. oh yeah! i just bought a silver 2004 4runner SR5. 51,000miles wheni got it and i did a few minor mods already including shaved emblems everywhere except toyota symbles that were painted black/ black limo tint/ hardwired radar detector/ an inline 12V setup / custom homemade grille (in profress) /deckplate & intake rig/ headunit, amp, subs, speakers,iphone setup... and that might be it.. i will have some pics soon and writeups for a few of the mods
