So I bought my 4runner last week. Made a post but want to make another one because this time, My baby is complete.
Background: I bought this baby without a back seat (second row) and was kind of smelly since the last owner has dogs. After hours of cleaning, I finally can't smell that wet dog smell anymore. As for the back seat, the owner lied and didn't give it to me, so I went and got a different one from a 2005 model, same color and everything for 150.
It's a 2003 V8 4x4 SR5 with 145,000 miles. One question that I have is that the timing belt looks new but how can I check to see if it's actually good since I'm planning to use this truck to travel from AZ to Utah in few months and I don't want it to snap or something during the long drive? :shrug:
Thinking about putting in a the side steps but not sure yet.
Any suggestions for fast and cheap mods would be much appreciated :boxer:
