My fix for my high idle !!

:redbrick: i cleaned my throttle body 4weeks ago and the result was a high idle and a pulsing idle when the brakes were applied ....after massive research and lots of new parts the problem was all due to a badly worn butterfly valve.
the massive crud build-up around it before was the only thing sealing the blade wen at a idle:redbrick:

I assume all that research revealed the pulsing was not a symptom of the butterfly valve, but instead of the high idle with brake application, right?

If not...
The ECU re****s ignition any time it senses a brake application during acceleration. As a very high idle gets translated into acceleration at the ECU, applying the brake cuts ignition. In my case, that cause the idle to bounce between 900 and 1200 RPMs at high idle with brakes applied. I got the idle adjusted and everything has been fine since.
