...and scratched the crap out of my baby. Six or seven deep scratches on the driver's side door and front quarter panel, along with a one inch chunk taken out all the way down to the metal.

Luckily a friend owns a great body shop and he's gonna fix it for me for the low price of $300.

Why oh why do we put up with women like this??? :(

I'd:

1) break off with her and

2) serve her with small claims suit for damages.

read up on the elements of vandalism and present the facts to the judge.
 
the fact that you addressed her as "girlfriend" leads me to believe you CHOOSE to put up with women like this.

If it were a wife, it's a bit harder to walk away from the relationship.


If she has no respect for your property, she probably has even less respect for you.

Cut your losses at this and move the hell on. But I wouldn't get your rig fixed just yet. a psycho bitch like that will probably inflict more physical damage on the way out the door.

I am so sorry to hear about your rig. As a woman, I find that kind of behavior inexcusable , and I must agree with Olliebear(cute name) she should not be a part of you life if she can disrespect you and your property in such a manner. I would really evaluate your relationship to see if the "physical side" ( I just can't use the whole pipes reference thing...hehe) is really worth it. Glad you have someone who can fix it...and hey, from all that I've read on this forum, all of the guys seem absolutely terrific ( yes every one of you, except for trolls and flamers...) and there is a girl out there for you who will value you and your property, not excluding one for the other....and hopefull have a kick'in bod and be great in bed...there I said it..:p

if you go back to someone who would do that to your truck then you are the psycho. take her to small claims court and the cleaners, but don't take her back.
 
Man, that's some mean streak your EX-girlfriend has! (Please note the emphasis on "EX".)

My ex-gf slammed my old CRV's transmission into Park while the car was still moving! We're no longer together...not sure because i broke up with her for that or that she could not stand a man driving a CRV?!:D Just kidding...to those CRV owners.:)

Bummer on the damage, but I do think the other guys are right. Another vote to dump the wench and make her pay for the damage!
 
Break it off and bring her to small claims court, she should pay for a 1st class paint job like the truck had not some deal you can get.

Girl is only gonna get worse, are you gonna wait for her to burn your house down while you sleep.

I've dated girls and non of them ever attempted to vandalize my things.

you might want to call the cops and have a police report so this is documented, I never had the problem but a friend of mine was trying to take the high road with an X and she ended up screwing him cause he took her word for it, she got what was coming to her but in the end it should have never happened the way it did.

What a psycho! If you are still with this chic, it might be easier to nail your balls to a butcher block, then dispatch yourself with a handgun of your choice. I can't imagine the relationship is going to get much better. Sounds like hse has serious issues.

We don't need the details of what set this off but I hope it went something like this...
As you were telling her that the relationship was over, you got back into your truck. She followed you and proceeded to rip at your door to get at your throat but she was foiled because you had the sense to lock yourself in. Then she damaged the front panel as you backed away (of course, being careful not to hit her because of the gentleman that you are.) The only reason she couldn't do any more damage was because the T4R is faster than she is. You woke up the next day thinking it's all a bad dream until you see the actual damage in daylight.
I'm not sure how old (or young) you are but do yourself a favour and follow all the advice given above. Been there, done that. Ditch the dream before it becomes a nightmare. You deserve better.
 
I am dead serious here. Dump her immediately. No well adjusted woman does this sort of thing. Please trust me on this...I learned the hard way. Plenty of fish in the sea that will respect you and your property/interests.
 
Sorry to hear about her temper tantrum and the damage she caused to your rig, only you can cipher whether or not keeping her is worth the stress. Surely you must be half leprechaun and she must have a nice pot of gold between her legs!

I have to laugh a bit, because I have an EX-wife who had a door slamming fetish. She would literally go into the garage and open and slam shut the vehicle door repeaditly. I would tease her by saying that she belonged on an assembly line testing door handles and door alignment and of course she would slam the door about 10 more times while yelling out her frustrations. Pure physco behavior.

Damn, reading this thread is so depressing...i can only pray that my current girlfriend does not behave like this.

I am a very bad fisherman in a small pond with only a few fishes.:( And if i touch the tadpoles, then i will be in MJ's shoes.:D
