My half of a 4runner build

Not sure if this is supposed to be in here or not. It is using half of a 2000 4runner. Thought some of you guys might like it. I bought a rolled over 4runner last year sometime and finally made some use of it and the 46 dodge I recovered 2 years ago. Built with anything and everything.

The donor truck. 4wd. Still ran and drove. I originally intended to convert my 2wd 4runner to 4wd bit decided not to.


Torn down to the frame. I would later learn that the frame is twisted hut that doesn't matter for what I'm building.


Moving the dodge cab from the s10 frame to the Toyota frame


Added a turbo because I could



Toyota steering column and suburban 3rd row seat


Made a bed and added my 33s


And finally working on the front end.

It does run and it moves on its own but the brakes are non existent. Only one wheel is doing any braking and it's done to only sort of hold the truck. Otherwise you just kind of have to shove it into Park. Once I get paid I will be ordering turbo feed and return parts so I may be making boost soon

Not painting any of it. I remember what the sides used to say. You can still sort of read it but I want to get stencils made and repaint the company name on the doors.

It my friends. It doesn't currently run. I stole the plug wires and crank sensor off of it. We are going to clean it up and sell it later

I see this thread is a little old. But was just wondering if it got finished. If so any more pics. Love this build. And am putting stuff together to do a Toyota frame 2wd rat build.
