I decided to turn the old girl in.

I really liked the 4Runner but after weighing my options I couldn't make the buy out work on paper.

I think I'll continue to lurk around here and perhaps see what the 5th gen looks likes. ;-)

To bad the #'s didn't work out , I hope mine will , I want another 4th gen if is doesn't . Maybe buy a used one or something.

I would wait a year or 2 for the bugs to be worked out and nicer packages to come out down the line .

As Thai said the new TE will be out in 09. It will be interesting to see.

I plan on buying my lease out if the #'s work . I would love a new sport or possibly a TE ( maybe ) but I really don't want to spend so much money . If the numbers work ok , you also have to weigh out the depreciation hit you will instantly take if you purchase a new on , so in my opinion there is some wiggle room. Have to run the numbers though.

Yeah, the Trail Edition looks pretty sweet! I would have looked closer at it but found myself in need of a truck over an suv. Drywall doesn't fit in the 4r very well.

You'll laugh, but I bought a gmc sierra.

No problem here...GMC Sierra is a very nice truck! (I secretly prefer the GMC/Chevy truck over the Tundra.) With rebates, mega discounts, and special financing these days, it is the perfect time to buy a truck.

I test drove the Tundra as well and it is a very nice truck(WOW, is that 5.7 a beast!). But I was surprised about the gas milage; seemed very low for a Toyota. And when it came down to warranty and discounts I had to go with the gmc.

I'm not hating on any of you Trundra owners out there, I love the CrewMax, but Toyota didn't need my money like GM does.

Congrats on the new ride . Nothing wrong with GMC/Chevy trucks. I like them as well.
