My nameless build

Hey Guys!

Here she is.. my 96 4wd SR5 I just picked up... She has 195,000 miles

This will be my build thread, I am open to any and all suggestions!

Also, i want to take this baby out! So any suggestions for places to go around the Bakersfield area is greatly appreciated!


Here are some pictures after i brought it home.

All i have done so far is remove the running boards.. I have them for sale if anyone is interested BTW!

I am still researching different possibilities as far as the build goes.

So far i need to:

- Replace the steering rack bushings
- The shifter is loose so need to replace those bushings
- The light under shifter indicator appears to be out

I am also wanting to do a lift, etc.

Also, still thinking about a name for her...any suggestions?

That is one nice 4runner! Are bumpers cover with plastidip?

I'd do all preventative maintenance first and then i'd look into:

Satoshi mod
OME lift or something similar
32" or 33" tires
fog lights or LED light bar in lower valence
and something I think is overlooked is to replace those lame tow hooks with some d-ring shackle hangers and paint those suckers red
