Just managed to score an 02 4runner from a buddy of mine. It's a pretty basic one and only 2WD. But he only wanted $2000 for it and it only has 145K miles on it.
I've replaced the front rotors/pads. Replaced the plugs/wires, air filter, cleaned the throttle body, changed the oil. All that good stuff. Still has CEL on along with the TracOff and VSCtrac light. Gonna do some research on these.
It's a really nice driving truck. Yeah, yeah, it does have a body lift. Gotta thank his wife for that. And now my wife, "But I like it".
I do have to add that the buyers guide sticky is priceless. I used the heck out of that post. Thanks for a great forum. Only had the truck a week and I'm really enjoying this site. Thanks.
